Introduction

 

Advalue Management Services does not employ permanent staff but is working with a pool of experienced and skilled professionals on a project by project contract basis.

 

We have been using this model in a number of projects with very satisfactory results for clients and contractors. We believe this way of working is appealing to a growing number of highly experienced project management professionals, meeting individual needs for flexible working hours and a healthy balance between work and private live. It also meets our needs for flexible workforces and minimal ongoing overhead.

 

But more importantly this model can only work for our clients if our Project Managers possesses a high level of experience, professional skills, self management, quality mindset, commitment, attitude and working ethics.

 

Required skills and attitude

 

We are looking for seasoned professionals who feel like a fish in the water working according to our contract-model. We expect our project managers to meet the following requirements:

 

· Sharing our vision on working ethics and embracing our shared values (click here)

· Experts in their field with at least 6 years experience in a senior role.

· PMP or PRINCE2 certified.

· Client and result focussed.

· Track record of successful projects.

· Excellent communication skills in the English language (both oral and in writing).

· Can do attitude and willingness to go for the extra mile.

· Quality mindset.

· Willingness to work on contract basis.

· Willingness to use and adhere to our AdPReP® project recovery methodology.

· Willingness to use and adhere to our project methodology.

· And last but not least  -  have fun and satisfaction in the work.

 

Additional requirements

 

Since we work on a contract basis we expect our Project Managers to supply their own tools (PC, laptop, tools, cell phone, etc.) to perform their work in a satisfactory manner. They also should have access to the internet and be able to communicate by phone, fax and via internet (e.g. MSN).
